International Rewatch

Hey guys,

I just read last night's rewatch and afterparty and am super sorry I had to miss it as it was tres awesome!! Ray's madlib, Eugie with Jamie (Eugie, you are gorgeous btw), and Lex's late night comment!fic were highlights. Of course we are still waiting on nearly naked Fight Club-esque Starbuck and Apollo taking on the Centurions...*looks around and hopes someone is writing!!* We also got some kick ass bsg goodness in VoD, including Apollo's "We're heading towards the gunfire", Kara's apartment and her "fighting for" monologue, and Tigh's "I wouldn't do that if you put a gun to my head...which you did!!"

On that note, we are still trying frantically to find a second rewatch time that works for as many people as possible. Cosette and I are considering Wednesday mornings GMT. This time fits with Lotus' suggestions for Australia as it would be evening there. It also is a reasonable time for our European shippers, although work may interfere. It would be late night for US folks. The other option is mid-to-late evening GMT on a weekday.

Please post and let us know if either, both, or neither option works for you. Please post times that do work if these don't. We are trying to accomodate the most people possible of course and welcome people to come to both rewatches if they want.

I'm better with evenings than mornings, but some mornings might work (although Wednesday less than other days, weirdly). But if you wand Europe and Oz at the same time, there's going to have to be compromise...

Yeah, i'm not sure exactly how to make Europe and Oz work given that they are on opposite sides of the planet. :P

We can deffo do a different morning than Wed. though if that will help...I'll put your time preferences on the list. Thanks for the feedback...it really does help us find the best time for the most people. :)

Wednesday AM GMT is just a few hours from the Tues PM EST.

Not that I am against or for it, just making a note.

Some people might just want a different date from the original group so to not feel like 'late to the party' and have their own time.

*nods* Yep, i do realize that we'd only be about 5 hours after the afterparty. What times work best for you?

Actually the time is okay with me. Heh! I'm homebound all day on Wednesday (due to arcane commuting ordinance). I'm just saying other people might not want the same day.

But I'm at the Philippines (one hour later than the Western Australian Time) and like the Aussie's time a little better than London time. But I'm okay with either time.

So...if you are interested in doing the international rewatch, please post with:
1) the times that are best for you
2) times that would work but are less than ideal

Right now I'm feeling like the 2nd rewatch might just be me and Cosette sitting and having thinky!thought time. That would be lovely, but not the purpose of trying to find a second time that's convenient for the masses. So...please, please post and let us know what YOU want.

Wed morning GMT would be Wed evening for me, so I would be ok with it. ;) So would any morning or late evening, as I said before. :)

Thanks to you btw for sifting through everyone's needs/preferences to come up with a time to accommodate all/most! It can't be all that easy!

Hey girlie,

I think let's try Wednesday morning...if everyone hates it or few people come after trying it for a couple weeks, we can always try again with a different time.

Now the question is what epi to watch for our first rewatch date; I kinda hate to start with Fragged since there is so little K/L in it, even if it is the next epi.

Any ideas? I've thought about the following:

--33 (or even the Mini)--starting at the beginning with the first K/L episodes and maybe just watching the K/L epis
--AoC/YCGHA --both why many of us fell in love with Kara, lots of thinky!thoughts to be had
--VoD--we'd start one behind the other rewatch group for variety and b/c it's a good hot!bloody!Lee, thinky/awesome!Kara episode
--Fragged (so we are keeping up with the other group)
--UBEX--all shippers have to love it, so we could best see what kind of turn out we may get and then decide as a group on Wednesday how to arrange the international rewatch
