2011 Comic Con BSG Fan Community

Hi everyone!

Like thousands of other people, I spent my morning hitting the "refresh" button on my laptop trying to buy tickets to Comic Con. I gave up after almost three hours, but I know that there were some folks who were successful.

I wanted to check with everyone again and see if there is still any interest in my moving forward with a BSG Fans Only community to coordinate travel, etc. Even though I won't be attending, I'd be happy to manage and maintain the comm and will cheer all of my fellow fangirls & fanboys who were able to buy tickets.

Don't give up yet! They usually sell extra tickets right before the event, like from May on. Some even with Preview Night. Good Luck!

(can members of the host committee not show up? I mean, is that legal?)

I already have tickets I bought at last year's CC. Now I have to decide whether to fly cross country to another Con less than 8 wks later. Have to see if that would fly at work first, I guess.

Who else has tickets to San Diego?

A whole bunch of us were online for hours and didn't get tickets. Most of us who're pretty active in this comm, actually. :-(

That's what K said. I'm major bummed, as of course you guys are, too. Have most that were going to go to CC gone ahead and bought for D*C, do you know?

I'd really like to see how many and if going to try to organize for D*C instead.

I think most of us have, yeah. Not sure how many. There is a comm already for D*C folks, so I won't be creating a new one. I was going to do SDCC cuz I'm a Cali girl :-)

I don't know where the D*C comm is. I don't see it at No_Takebacks. So, where's it hiding?
