We have already seen film inspire fic writers. Who will ever be able to forget Kag523's Inception/BSG mash-up fic The Irrepacibility of Things Lost http://kag523.livejournal.com/65327.html
So have you been struck by an idea whilst watching a movie? Has a concept just jumped out as an idea that had to be used in a different or similar way for your own fic purposes? Lets JUMP and get into it.

Date: 2011-02-03 08:24 pm (UTC)Also I love this "amaliak must write the Helo Chronicles which will be a Star Trek / BSG cross (because her Helo is the BEST and you KNOW he was actually in the wrong series with that moral compass."
Mainly because of the truth of it all. RDM wrote for DS9 I believe it was - so I am guessing he had to have that moral character lurking.
My own thought is to re-read "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep"/ "Bladerunner" and mash it up with BSG. It is almost tailor made for it!
