That Unfamiliar Terrain (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4441865/1/That_Unfamiliar_Terrain) by Soft Light. Oh, this is very, very good. After a night with too much ambrosia, Kara wakes up shirtless in the arms of Lee Adama. This is hot and touching and refreshingly different. And the tension between Kara and Lee is captured perfectly.

Making Babies (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5255747/1/Making_Babies) by Oponn
I must admit I am not the biggest fan of babyfic. But this… Well, this is not exactly a baby fic but deals with pilots and the possibility of a little KarLee –or a little Leara :). I love everything about this little piece: the cuteness, the banter, Kara and Lee’s characterizations… And the ending is pitch-perfect. Sad and sweet and… pilots. Gah.
(and now I realize that this is not season 1 because Helo is around… LOL! But well, I don’t care, this is too good to not rec it ;P).

The Awful Wonder (http://abelard369.livejournal.com/1858.html) by abelard369. Lee hates the wonder of her. A good insight of K/L relationship–from Lee’s POV—in S1.

Well ok, I admit it, I am a total angstwhore and Kara/Lee/Zak is one of my all time soft spots. But this is a fabulous. Tragic, sweet, frakked-up, honest… and fits just perfectly into canon.

The Touch I Was Wanting From Her (http://leiascully.livejournal.com/640798.html) by leiascully. Another Kara/Lee/Zak one. I really enjoy the dynamics between the three of them here. The Kara/Zak relationship—and Kara’s love for him--is portrayed in a very interesting and refreshing way that rings very true. And of course, all the tension between Lee and Kara in the beginning is also fantastic.
