Aww thanks for the shoutout! :) I was just coming here to ask for a fic rec and/or prompt! hehe As for what you asked for, I'd love it if someone used "Secret Smile" by Semisonic as inspiration of the growing relationship/friendship between Kara and Lee after they met, but while she and Zak were still dating.

Speaking of that though, I actually came here to ask if anyone knows and can rec any fics that deal with Kara passing Zak through basic flight partly out of guilt. I've always imagined her line about how she couldn't be the one to crush him was because she knew despite their engagement she couldn't actually go through with marrying him, especially because of Lee. So, in her mind she rationalized that if she passed him through flight school that the blow of breaking off the engagement wouldn't be as bad. So, I'm really wanting to read a fic that deals with that premise. Got any recs? If not, please consider it a prompt. :P
