I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm feeling that there's some general gloominess going around lately. Maybe in some areas people are still getting used to colder weather and less sun; maybe everyone is just busy and stressed this time of year. Or maybe you don't know what the frak I'm talking about cause your month is just awesome, but either way, let's have a

LOVE MEME

Do we have to kiss each other, you ask? Nay! Here are the ways of this love meme:

1. Leave a comment with your name. People reply to the comment and give you love, because you're awesome.

2. OR, if you're the shy "I don't wanna be an attention whore" type, comment with a question so that people will talk about you anyway. Such as "Which of my fics do you like best?" "Which of my DPP days was the most fun?" "What BSG character would you ship me with?" Etc. Fellow members may slyly imply love in addition to answering your question.

I don't think I've commented, but I love your "Five Time Kara Prayed to Apollo..." (title approximated) series. Totally gutting and beautiful.

Oh, gosh, thank you so much! That fic is weirdly dear to me, because it's kind of "experimental" (it's Kara-centric and 2nd person neither of which I've really done before!) So I'm glad you're enjoying it!

And I would love lots of knitting posts! And discussion of writing original fiction too, as I know you're doing that, brave person!

Second person intrigues me. (Actually all choices of "person" and tense fascinate me, but that's a whole other discussion.) Second person,however, is one I've never used. There's something so immediate and intimate that's kind of frightening to me.

Oh, original fiction. I should write about writing that more. It's an interesting process because I have to come up with everything.

I need to take new sock pictures. This is a good reminder.

You always have the most engaging discussions about shows. I still enjoy clicking through your posts about BSG and hearing your thoughts. (It helps that I have similar ones.)

Another thing is that your fic is incredible. I remember one of the first stories I read was your "Seventy-Eight" which I never commented on (oops) but I love. You of course permanently won me over with "Too Solid Flesh". God, that story. XD

But in broader terms, you are so incredibly smart and knowledgeable. The books you read, wow. You always have something interesting to say too, be it about politics or novels or characters. I suck at commenting, but I love reading what you have to say.

Plus, ASOIAF! Which I'm still really behind on! But it's awesome! :P
