Day Two of my evil reign over the DPP! Or something. Yesterday garnered some great comments and people should definitely feel free to head back there and post more lyrics and/or icons to go with them.

In the world outside BSG (it's a scary place), our beloved pilots keep working or not in a wide variety of other roles. For the next couple of days, let's look at the actors who brought the chemistry, the emotion, and the physicality to the characters we adore.

What's your favourite non-BSG role for Katee? What's your dream role for her? Do you have other favourite shows you'd love to see her turn up on? If you feel like it, what's your least favourite role she's played? What do you love about her offscreen? For me, the best non-Kara role for Katee has to be Sarah Corvus. She was so evil and snarky! And so much better than anything else on that show! I mean... Nope. That's what I mean.

I'm dying for her to play some asskicking superhero and/or supervillain. Harley Quinn or Typhoid Mary from comics. I'd love for her to guest on Leverage or White Collar and I think it would be fun if she showed up on Glee. Girl can sing after all.

For least favourite role overall, the infamous Last Sentinel. Yes, I watched it. And I appreciated Katee's apology to those of us who did. But the one I didn't get all the way through was 24. I tried so hard but the writing... Yeah, not even for Katee.

Off-screen, I adore that she's a biker chick who wants to replicate the Van Buren sisters' motorcycle ride across America. That and her cheekbones. I'm madly in love with her cheekbones.

Even when I hate her, I still love Katee Sackhoff.

Well, Katee's role in 24 definitely made me watch that show while she was in it. It was definitely a very different role that Starbuck - I prefer Starbuck, but she definitely made 24 worth watching, at least for me.

Mind you, I agree with dramaturgca in many ways - I definitely stopped watching 24 after Katee stopped being on it.

I also found out, off-screen, Katee used to be a swimmer and loves Twilight - those two things automatically make her very cool. :)

I really enjoyed Katee in the 4 episodes of Bionic Woman she was in. She was the best thing (only good thing) about the show. Far more interesting than the main character.

I actually really enjoyed The Education of Max Bickford. The whole series (one season) is on youtube, and I went through it a couple years ago. At first, I was just looking for the clips of Katee singing but then I got sucked in by her character and ended up watching the whole series...twice. In fact, I kinda want to watch it again...Anyway, some things about it annoyed me and the premise is still kind of boring, but the characters and acting are good, and Katee is great (and so young!) as Nell.

Least favorite role: White Noise 2. It was just sooooo bad.

My favorite non-BSG role for Katee has to be Sarah Corvus. I only watched that show because of her and she was the best part of it.

My least favorite has to be the Last Sentinel. OMG, that was a horrible, horrible movie. After BSG and the discovery of the awesomeness that is Katee, I started watching all of her stuff but I barely made it through to the end of the movie.

I would love to see Katee in a light comedy/drama because I think she has a fantastic sense of humor that has yet to be displayed.

I liked Katee in "The Wedding Wish". I saw it on Lifetime a few months ago and it was nice seeing Katee in a lighter rom-com role.

I would love to see her in a big budget rom-rom and she might be afraid of being typecasted but she plays the touch action chick so well, I'd love to see her on more tv shows like that.

I will watch Katee in anything because I find her completely fascinating as an actress. That being said, her roles in Bionic Woman (where she was delightfully over-the-top and badass), How I Married My High School Crush (where she was adorable and showed off her comedic timing), and The Education of Max Bickford (in which she got to be a bit of a punky rebel and sang in multiple episodes ♥) were my favorites.

Her role in 24 was my least favorite because I came to despise the way that show treated women, including her character, and they, quite frankly, wasted her talent for far, far too long.

I did a little Katee appreciation post here (http://taragel.livejournal.com/44393.html) but mainly I enjoy her offscreen because she's very real and normal, she doesn't hesitate to express her opinion, she has tons of good humor, not to mention she's just naturally gorgeous and compelling.

I agree with an earlier comment that she should do some more funny roles. I liked her little cameo in Big Bang Theory.
I'd love to see her do an appearance on White Collar. Maybe as one of Neal's former crime acquaintances, and it would be fun if they had more of a platonic connection than he does with most women he meets. Or hell, she could just be Diana's girlfriend. Not that I'm getting carried away here.
I'm kind of looking forward to Growl, even though it looks bad, cause it looks hilariously bad.

Sarah Corvus all the way! Loved her. KS was definitely the best part of that show.

In the future...she mentioned wanting to do more romantic comedies, and I think that would be great. Personally, I think Katberine Heigl should share the wealth with all those types of roles! Katee would be a fun Stephanie Plum too, for instance, in the movie One for the Money, which KH just filmed. Just sayin'.

Hello ~ I have almost nothing substantial to contribute today because, to my shame, I've never seen Katee in anything but BSG, but I just wanted to jump on the hypothetical romantic-comedy bandwagon because I think she is just so naturally charming and joyful that I'd love to see her playing the lead with a lighthearted, fast-paced and clever script. Maybe even with some fantasy element involved ~ something with the feel of "The Princess Bride," except she could play someone way more interesting than Buttercup :) Maybe Inigo...

Aside from the small scene she had in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, I have to confess I haven't seen her in anything but
BSG. I think she really rocked there and was the one responsible for making the character so fascinating. I think she is an amazing actress and would love to see her in other roles. So, I guess I'll have to write down the recs you guys suggest and then try to watch them.

Hey guys! Great banner, btw. :) My favorite non BSG- Role for Katee was, as a few have already said, Sarah Corvus on "Bionic Woman" she was so electric and badass in the role it was the first time in the while I actually rooted for the bad guy er girl. lol

Worst role - "24" bleh. :(

holy shit she would make an AMAZING stephanie plum, im embarrassed to say that ive never even considered her for all the times that ive casted that movie in my head.
