Hey people! I'm so sorry for posting today's DPP so late.

Since we've already had a "hair" post (a GOOD hair post), I thought we could have a BAD hair one too.

Here's a fine example of our favourite fake president's hair in a very bad day
(but the eyes are so lovely ♥).



Why didn't you consider a haircut? One of the mysteries which will always remain unsolved. ;p

Unpopular fandom opinion: I always thought he looked cute in the field in the finale with his hair sticking out to all sides. I hated it in the scenes during their operation, when it was all slicked down. Basically I hate it whenever they obsessively style and blowdry it.

Yeeeeeah, the Daybreak hair doesn't do anything for me. Unless you count making me want to attack him with a pair of scissors and chop it all off. Heh.

Runner-up to that would have to be, unfortunately, Lee's UB hair. DUDE, IT LOOKS LIKE A BADGER AND A TOUPEE HAD A BABY. WHYYYYYYYYYYY?

Kara, on the other hand, does not have bad hair days. She stares her hair down until it does what she wants. ;)

But I don't know why flashback hair is the worst.

I think that maybe the make up department realized that our screens would explode should both Jaime AND Katee looked their best at all times, so they had to bring them down.

Occasionally, they were successful.

I guess I'm in the minority when I say that I love his longer hair. It is a bit wild here *points up* but I love the softness.

OK, I am joining the unpopular opinion here, because I think Lee looks really cute in the field scene (the scene is awful, but I love Kara and Lee's looks there). My favorite hair for Lee was the pilot haircut, so I hated the presidential hair... even though in the end the long-ish hair grew on me and I ended up liking his style in S4.5.

Anyway, Lee's worse hair? The UB flashbacks. So awful I wanna cry.



And also, his hair in this scene of the mini looks really weird (not a fan of that sort of con).

I've always thought that the field scene, the Lee and Baltar scenes on Galactica, and the planning scenes in Daybreak were shot before the Caprica dinner flashback scenes. Those earlier scenes looked to have Jamie's own hair. Then they cut his hair and shot the flashback scenes. The wig seemed to come into play in the battle scenes that kellychameleon3 so adeptly posted above. The wig was definitely atrocious.
