...or "Five times Lee Adama was thinking of Kara Thrace (in the form of a song)"

Cookies if you get the lyrics. ;)

"I remember it well
The first time that I saw
Your head around the door
'Cause mine stopped working"

"I don't want to be your friend
I just want to be your lover
No matter how it ends
No matter how it starts"

"But it's not forever
But it's just tonight
Oh we're still the greatest
The greatest
The greatest
You
Your sex is on fire
You
Your sex is on fire"

"So fuck you
And all we've been through
I said leave it
It's nothing to you
And if you hate me
Then hate me so good that you can let me out
Let me out of this hell when you're around"

"Don't disappear
Darlin', I want you
Don't leave me here
And when the day comes
I'll meet you here
'Cause I know that wishes come true
Finding my way back to you"

Help me with Kara's Five Times!

well the first and the fourth are Damein Rice lyrics, aren't they? and the third is Kings of Leon, the others seem familiar, but I couldn't name them...

As for Kara, I think Ani Difranco lyrics really seem to be so Kara to me, they actually helped me to get a grasp of her character, as I've always had difficulties understanding Kara.

Here are a few examples:
light of some kind: (the whole song is so Kara to me)
i've been intentionally bad at lying
you're the only boy i ever let see through me
and i hope you believe me when i say i'm trying
and i hope i never improve my game
yeah i'd rather have these things weighing on my mind
and at the end of this tunnel of guilt and shame
there must be a light of some kind

in the end the world comes down to just a few people
but for you it comes down to one
but no one ever asked me if i thought i could be
everything to someone
there's a crowd of people harbored in every person
there are so many roles that we play
and you've decided to love me for eternity
i'm still deciding who i want to be today

not a pretty girl:
and i have earned my disillusionment
i have been working all of my life
and i am a patriot
i have been fighting the good fight
and what if there are no damsels in distress
what if i knew that and i called your bluff?
don't you think every kitten figures out how to get down
whether or not you ever show up

I'm with you on the Ani Difranco front. I actually posted lyrics from one of her songs up above. I thought about commenting with Not a Pretty Girl too, because it is such a Kara song, but I think of it as more Kara than Kara/Lee, so I went with School Night instead.

And I've never heard Light of Some Kind, but now I think I need to...

Yes, once I posted them I realised they're more character based than shippy!
But I think "Light of Some Kind" could be read as Kara's thoughts about Lee, when you hear the whole song.
The lyrics can be read here (http://www.danah.org/Ani/NotAPrettyGirl/LightOfSomeKind.html)
But I'm not really a Kara girl, so I might be way off.

Oh yeah, "Light of Some Kind" definitely works--I just listened to it. I also think "Heartbreak Even" can be a Kara/Lee song. This verse in particular evokes her mindset throughout much of their relationship, but especially New Caprica:
It's a heartbreak even situation
One part powerful elation
One part pitiful and frail
And I'm trying to feel my way around
A book of promises written in braille
