Our beloved pilots obviously wouldn't be the same if they weren't portrayed so amazingly by Jamie Bamber and Katee Sackhoff. What do you think of the parts they've played since BSG? yeah, I really like that about her - that she can play characters who fit the same trope but make them so different from each other (she did it in Bionic Woman, too).

ARCHIE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (though weirdly, I'd watched Hornblower years and years before BSG and completely failed to recognise Jamie in the miniseries at first, what with having different hair and a different accent)

Among Jamie's post-BSG parts, I really liked him as Matt Devlin even though the part itself doesn't offer that much scope for an actor. Though I was most intrigued by him in Dollhouse - he makes such a charismatic baddie.

Katee was the best part of Bionic Woman by far, I could barely tolerate the show itself but she was amazing in it. And I'm really loving her as Vic Moretti in Longmire, it's great that she finally has a role that's somewhat worthy of her talent.

Hee! My love for Archie is not secret :) I've gone so far as to read the fanfic. Hornblower was the show I knew Jamie Bamber from, and my affection for him as an actor is what got me to start watching BSG.

I'm a gen reader myself, a small but interesting corner of the Hornblower fandom :)

I like Nereus's stories (http://clotho123.tripod.com/mainlist2.htm) in particular, especially the Divergence Series.

I must say I didn't enjoy Katee's other roles much, but I'm holding my thumbs for The Chronicles of Riddick movie. I think I might enjoy her in Bionic Woman, but I don't know if my even love for her can get me to watch it.

Now for Jamie, I really enjoyed his role in Dollhouse. And Dr. Michael Hathaway in Perception seems really interesting too though I don't really like the character right now...we'll see how it goes.

I've been meaning to check out Perception, but is he a guest star on that or a regular? (and Jamie was so good in Dollhouse, it's weird how he made someone who could have been just another mook interesting and even borderline sympathetic)

He's listed as recurring. He appeared in three episodes so far. The main character doesn't like him very much, haha. I'm on the rocks when it comes to the show itself though. The first season finished two days ago. We'll see what next year's season will bring.

The one good thing about JB's role on Perception is the fact he says "Agent Moretti" several times. Really, someone needs to play with audio clips and splice them into Longmire.

I have seen just about every movie Jamie was in before BSG (yes, even bits of "Devil Rig" or whatever title it's being called now). The facial hair from "Daniel Deronda" still makes me shudder.
