Rewatch: Miniseries

Ok, so, I'll stop being goofy (for now). Here's some actual business. I just watched this show for the first time a few months ago. And this show hooked me hard. When I started this crazy journey I was absolutely deadset on not shipping anybody. Nobody at all. I was going to watch BSG like a rational human being. I would enjoy the sweeping sci-fi epic for its plot and characterization, but under no circumstances would there be shipping.
Hahahaha. Haaaaahahahahaha.
These two had me by the end of "Act of Contrition." So I always find it a complete revelation to re-watch the miniseries with full permission to ship Kara and Lee. I tend to end up squealing frequently in glee. There's just so much going on with them and it's so easy to brush aside or ignore... to begin with. But their little moments build, and build, until finally this show just wasn't any good to me unless these two were on-screen together. I didn't care if they were fighting, kissing, frakking, talking, glaring--didn't matter. I just wanted them together. They were the magic that made this show pop for me. And it all starts right here with their snarky banter and their eye-frakking and their awkward body language and their longing glances and their implied shared history of mystery. Just... unf.
