no_takebacksNow for those Neo Pagans/ Pagans/ Nature worshiping etc. Today is the Solstice. To be more accurate it is Winter Sostice (dictated by nature itself so it's a moving celebration.) We all know that Kara is pagan (as seen by all the greco-roman iconography.) So how would she, and conversely Lee, because he does secretly like a celebration, celebrate it.
Any way you want to express this is good. It can be comment!fic if you have the time, it can be a list, a one line scenario. You can even use that Dancing!Trica gif I see so often.

Lee never got used to the fuss Kara made over Solstice. He had grown up celebrating it as a secular holiday, a time to exchange presents, but she didn't want presents from him, just to cover the house with paintings and images of the rising sun. Sometimes she's even speak to the images, as if she believed that after their long journey to Earth the old Lords of Kobol were still with them.
On Solstice night they snuggled near the fire as the long evening began. Lee had gathered all the firewood because Kara had been painting, and he tried not to stay annoyed as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "The Sun comes back, Lee," she said. "It's not conquered. Things can come back when you think they're lost forever."
Lee wrapped his arms around Kara, his annoyance gone. There were ways in which he believed that too.
