kdbleu has written a gorgeous ficlet here about Kara after EoJ/Rapture. Please stop by and leave her some love.
Thursday: Propaganda posters. There are some really brilliant ones, so please stop by and share in them. They're virtually guaranteed to make you smile :)
Today is the final writing challenge of the week. What's in the box?. This idea I've stolen fromkag523, who used it in her recent fic Libertas. The comments section of this post is your box - please leave items in it (one item per comment), then write drabble length fics - one item per drabble - based on, and including them.
The only real rules are that the drabbles must include the item, and must include at least one pilot :)

Presumably before this episode, someone placed a hose pipe in the BSG writers' box.

Her eyebrow arches, she stares him down pointedly.
"Not again, Kara." He shakes his head. "You said last time was the LAST TIME."
"I lied." She shrugs. "Now do you want them or not? Yours are looking pretty ragged."
"Yeah but..."
She cuts him off. "Just forget it, I can get a better deal elsewhere."
Conceding defeat, he groans. "Wait, fine but this is the LAST TIME!"
Beaming she saunters back and pats his chest knowingly, "Sure it is, Lee."

Date: 2011-10-21 07:32 pm (UTC)She always made him do it in the Pilots Briefing Room. She said that otherwise that people would complain about the smell. He realizes that she'd played him, but it's always hard for him to not just give in to her and he really did need the socks. Thankfully, it was usually empty in here. At least if he was going to do this for her again, give up his pride for her passing need to feel feminine for a few moments, he prayed that he could get through it without spectators.
"C'mon," she prods, kicking weakly at him with her foot.
“I’m going.” He grouses reaching to still her wiggling foot in his lap. “Black again huh?”
Watching him catch his tongue between his teeth as he concentrates on his task she smiles, “Fits my mood.”
She watches him for a few moments, enjoying the sensation of his touch, before a clang brings both of their attention to the hatch and the Admiral's surprised face. He pauses in shock for just a moment, before slowly shaking his head and calmly closing the hatch without comment.
Turning to face Lee’s horrified expression with barely concealed mirth Kara ventures timidly, “Well, there are worse things he could have walked in on us doing than you painting my toenails.”

Tearing it open, Lee smiled as as the cool metal of her dogtag fell into his hand.
Helo quirked his eyebrow. "So what does it mean?"
"It means she's coming back."
