What's Your Line?

Great fics often start with great first lines. For today's DPP, write an Opening Line of an imaginary fic. Everyone else, tell us what happens next. You can write fic or simply describe.

I've left a few Opening Lines in the comments to get us started. (For an added challenge, don't read anyone else's "responses" until you've written yours.)

From deep in the throng of mourners, Kara watched Lee approach his father's flag-draped coffin, the familiar lines of his face deepened with grief and anger.

Lee woke gasping air, his mouth tasting like chemicals, a thick glaze of liquid coating his skin.

Shouting her name into the wind, Lee reached for her hand, fingertips just touching before she let go and her body plummeted into the darkness below.

The first time they frakked, Lee's brother was downstairs having tea with Kara's aunt.

It's a Cylon!Lee fic in which he dies and is brought back right before the Cylon occupation of New Caprica. Once he gets there he escapes the other Cylons, re-joins the Colonial fleet, and tells some made-up story about how he was a Cylon prisoner. After the New Caprica arc he's found out and Kara wants to kill him, but then at the last minute she doesn't.

HA! Those two will devise any opportunity to frak, won't they.

Here's my theory... Kara arranged to have her very sweet but terribly needy aunt come over for tea. Knowing that Zak has a soft spot for the old coot, Kara arranges that while her aunt talks and talks and talks, Kara will accidentally spill tea ALL OVER HER LAP. Naturally, Lee needs to help, so they leave Zak with Auntie June and go off to, uh, get off. ;)

Then the other pilots started whooping, glad Starbuck and Apollo had finally done the bad tango after so many months of dancing around one another.
Her nuggets were particularly relieved, thinking now she might stop being such a bitch of a flight instructor.

He'd been watching her ass move in hers as she spoke to the other pilots, panting at the thought of the flesh beneath.

Later that night however, he reflected how he liked her much better out of it, especially when she used her shirt and tags to tie him to his bunk until nothing of his sanity remained, except the craving need to feel her mouth on his skin.

They decided to go bungee jumping. Zak was too hungover and so couldn't face 'Adrenalin Canyon' - the theme park, and so bailed on them. Leaving Lee and Kara to do it alone. What Zak never knew was that when they got released into the water at the bottom, his brother and partner got an eye full of one another - the water making their clothes see-through.
He also never knew that on the way back to the top, Kara decided to treat herself and gestured for Lee to go first. Mainly so she could stare at his ass. She got one, totally wet, curved and uninterrupted view for fifteen whole minutes. Lee on the other hand, dreamt that night about what lay beneath Kara's t-shirt.

The second time they frakked was at his mother's wedding. She was Zak's date. Lee was alone, as usual. No one he dated since he met Kara compared.
