DPP: The not so daily pilots PARTY!!

Evening ladies and fanfolks! It's FINALLY Saturday, which means that it's PARTY DAY! WOOP!

So, bring your joy, your squee, your gifs, your pretty pictures, your giant sparkly text, ANYTHING YOU WANT! It's a free-for-all yo', anything goes.

Now, I know free-for-alls can be daunting, you never know where to start, what to say, how to be cool in the face of so much CHOICE! So, I'll start you off and we'll see where the night takes us.


If you're around and up for bingo, check in at the BINGO comment below so I know how many people are around. My plan is to have two games, bingo and reverse bingo, so even if you're not around for the first game, you'll hopefully get to play the second, and there will also be some mini games along the way :)

I bought a subscrip to our local theatre, so we're going to see the new production/touring company in November! Can't wait. It's been a long time since we saw it last. Such a gorgeous score. Though it's hard to listen to the symphonic one because it's the world cast and I like the other one so much better. The white one. I think that's the London cast possibly. Or a mix of different casts. Ruthie Henshell and Michael Ball I think... It doesn't sound right without them!

OH yeah, I remember you mentioning it. That's exciting! (I'm sooooo into the idea of Bring it on: The Musical!) It is just so beautiful.

I have to say, the London cast is it for me, even though the girl who plays Eponine is slightly screechy, but there can be no Les Miserables without Michael Ball and Colm Wilkinson. And actually Patti LuPone, but I can deal with other Fantines. I think the white one is the mix one, possibly the 10th anniversary?

YES that's it 10th anniversary. Oh see, I do not dig Patti LuPone at all. I remember way back when, before I knew she was any kind of a big deal on broadway, she sang on Life Goes On and I was horrified by her voice. HEE. I thought she was horrid!

Oh trust me, I would not have bought the thing were it not for BRING IT ON THE MUSICAL. I need that in my life. ;)

Her voice used to really annoy me when I was little, but then I heard other recordings and I was all like "what the hell is this noise? This isn't Fantine!"

I think there's a kind of weird desparation in her voice that really works for Fantine because she's supposed to be kind of weak and messy. I can't say I enjoy her in a general sense.

I need that in my life. ;)

I think everyone needs that in their lives, whether they know it or not.
