DPP: The longing looks of love

adamas.livejournal.comI really don't think anyone does the 'look of impossible love' better than the Pilots. The tension, the pretty, the UST, the heartbreak of it all -- they kill me with every glance!
What non-physical moments are your favorite? I love the under the wing scene of Maelstrom (I know some disagree with me!), I love the water fight, I love 'no takebacks' -- but I know there are so many of them out there!
Outside of the show, do you have any fic recs that do a really good job of the tension? The friendship? The longing? What about the fanart out there? Share your favorites, prompt each other, and let's talk about the lingering touch of love unsatisfied :)
