Date: 2011-07-19 02:45 pm (UTC)Kara pulls the named stickers off the bunk bed; peeling away layers and layers. She views them as they lay on the floor. Crashdown’s on top. She’d said to Kat, she tries to forget the names but they lurk in her head. Lee walks up behind and hands her some aspirin and water.
“I knew despite your protests that the names still ring in your head as they do in mine.”
Kara rubs her nose after swallowing what he’d passed and sighed.
“Yeah Lee, but how long until ours join ‘em?”
“Yours will never be there, you’re still Top Gun.”
***
Helo and Sharon - PG
He’s sobbing, after holding it in for months; the confusion over loving a cylon, the terror and amazement about being a father, then the grief over his baby girl’s death. He’s the only one she’d never tease about it, for Helo’s all things she isn’t and he deserves happiness. Gradually his body unclenches and he slackens. Kara hands him a bottle after taking a chug for herself.
“Get loaded. Punch it out in the gym, then sleep,’ she takes a breath, smoothing a hand over his head, ‘Cos tomorrow you say this to Sharon.”
If only she could to Lee.
***
Frak Space – R
They each walk to different parts of the ship and take a phone, asking to be forwarded through. Kara’s in an arms room and Lee’s in the showers. She takes a weapon and talks about the loading of ammunition and the shock of a true hit. Lee talks about the heat of the water and the way the soap feels against his skin. They work themselves up into a frenzy; her fingers between her legs and his palm around his length. The work hard and end up sweating on the floor.
At the card game later, they sit in silence.
***
Astral Queen - PG
It’s beautiful here; perfect in every way and they take the time to walk about, doing normal things. Things pilots and the refugees of the human race have almost forgotten about doing. He buys a beer that doesn’t taste like piss and she admires the idols on display. They walk around till night and almost end up holding hands.
A year later she’s shovelling mud out of the way where it's invaded her and Sam’s tent. He’s arguing with Dee about something stupid. He gets drunk on some kind of gut rot and she watches the mud slide back inside.
***
Steath Ship - PG
She’d moved around the edges of the hanger, working to avoid his eye like she had in the steath ship. Since his scorn, the morning after the night before, she’d avoided him. She’d grabbed her stuff, stowed the rest indefinably, and been officially dismissed from duty. It’d been her last chance to explain if she was ever going to; the shuttle waiting to take her down to her life with Sam. She’d swallowed approaching from the rear. Dee’d come up to him and Kara’d seen the flash of her wedding ring and left.
Locked in Leoben’s jail, she regrets it.
(LOL, had to repost – forgot the twist in the last one).

Date: 2011-07-19 04:12 pm (UTC)Squished together behind ammunition crates, hiding from their own men in the middle of a mutiny; they stood together, alone.
“Remember when we were all on the same side?” he asked wryly.
She snorted. “Not really.”
“Yeah,” He said thinking back, “I guess not. Remember when our own people weren’t trying to kill us?”
“Vaguely,” She sighed. “Seems like everyone’s been trying to kill us for so long that I can’t remember anything else before all this.”
Leaning over to bump her shoulder, he smiled. “Least we still got each other.
She smiled ahead, the warmth of his shoulder was enough.
***
Didn't Need You Anyway, R
Fearing her wrath he rushed through the halls, eager to touch her again. He knew she’d be pissed that he got held up. She didn’t like to be kept waiting.
Pulling back her curtain hurriedly his apology died on his lips when he found her sucking oxygen, collapsed against the bed. Her top bare, her hand beneath her briefs. She turned towards him unabashedly letting her legs drop to the mattress as she pulled her slick hand free.
“You’re late.”
“I’m sorry,” He choked.
“It’s OK.” She grinned, reaching to pull him to her. “Turns out I didn’t need you anyways.”
***
Top Gun, PG13
He found her in the briefing room, silent tears running down her face.
“Looks like I’m Top Gun again.” Turning from him, she wiped hastily at the evidence of her despair.
They’d been frakking for weeks, but he was scared to touch her now.
“It’s OK to be upset, Kara. Kat was one of yours.”
Her shoulders shook in a vain effort to restrain her emotion.
“I’m not upset!” She lied. “I’m pissed she didn’t give me a chance to win my title back in combat.”
And she was sobbing and he held her while she mourned.
“Yeah. She always did enjoy pissing you off.”
***
Admiral Cain, PG
Admiral Cain watched as they descended from their transport. They were obviously close. Standing in each others personal space. Head to head they whispered between them. Their bodies touching more frequently than necessary.
She’d change that. Pull their alliance apart from the inside out. She knew from Adama’s logs that they were both talented pilots, but Kara craved the respect that came from a Commander’s acceptance. Lee’s need to prove himself came from somewhere else. He wanted the approval of his father above all things. All little boys do.
She knew just how to drive a wedge between them.
***
Fight 'Em Till We Can't, PG
She’d always been a fighter. But that was before Leoben brought her to play house where there was no escape and nothing to fight. Where she had no wing-man and she fought alone. It had been so long since Lee hadn’t been on her six.
She thought back to when a drunken bar brawl was the worst of their problems. Surrounded by a pissed of group of marines she’d hustled in a game of Triad, he'd looked over and asked, “Now what?”
Smiling like a wild thing, she’d cracked her neck before stepping forward eagerly, “Now we fight ‘em till we can’t.”

Date: 2011-07-19 05:54 pm (UTC)Cain had been brutal. Kara knew that. Looking at Kendra, it was easy to see that same brutality. That same willingness to do whatever was required for their survival. Not hers. Theirs. She respected that. Lee knew that when he’d ordered her to stay behind. He hated himself for it. It’s what Cain would have done, what Kendra did do, what Kara pretended to understand.
But she didn’t. Her request for transfer proved that.
As she boarded her transfer shuttle, he stopped her.
“I’m sorry, Kara.”
Pushing past him brusquely, she tried to not care, like Cain, like Kendra.
“Don’t be.”
***
Fight 'Em Till We Can't, PG
He’d always been her wing-man, even during the academy. Her six was never unprotected. He watched her back like an overprotective brother. It used to bother her how he thought she needed saving. Until she realized how often she actually did needing his saving.

Date: 2011-07-19 06:54 pm (UTC)She’d found the picture in his locker. She hadn’t been snooping, just innocently borrowing his shampoo without permission.
“So she was like, your girlfriend?” She asked, leaning casually against the table.
“Yeah, something like that.”
Staring down at the blonde woman’s face, she pressed for more. “You never told me.”
Dropping his towel to the floor, he stepped towards her angrily.
“I didn’t realize we were secret buddies. Anything you’d like to tell me?”
Keeping her eyes trained on his, she just shook her head. “You should put her on the memorial wall.”
He snatched the picture from her and turned away. “You should put Zaks there.”
***
Are We Okay?
They didn’t speak for days, but they still wore each others bruises on display. He couldn’t see the purple marks around her nose without longing to kiss away the hurt he’d caused. The cut on his cheek filled her with pride that she’d finally marked him. Eventually they found themselves alone in the showers. Their bodies both bare and covered in the proof of their passion.
She reached out to stroke the yellow marks across his ribs. His sigh at the contact drew the words from her unbidden.
“Are we OK?”
His mouth fell to hers on instinct.
“I really doubt.”
***
Razor, PG-13
“C’mon Lee!” She begged, wrapped in her towel ready for a much-needed shower. “I lost my last one to Helo in Triad and he gave it to Sharon.”
Looking up from his rack, he raised himself onto his elbows. “And what about me, huh? What am I supposed to use?”
“It’s sexy and manly when guys don’t shave,” she whined kicking the side of his rack, “if I don’t, it’ll just be disgusting.”
“I’m assuming you have something to exchange for this little favor.” He prodded.
“Yeah,” she whispered, leaning down to reveal unfair amounts of her creamy skin.
“I’ll let you watch.”
***
Lieutenant Adama, G
“This is so unfair,” he groaned as they worked the roster board.
“It’s not my fault she docked your rank, Lee! I never asked for this!”
“I know…”
“No!” She threw back, effectively cutting off his response. “You need to get over this. This is the way the military works, Lieutenant.”
“Yeah but. . .” He stammered.
“No ‘buts’ Lee! There are no ‘buts’!” She yelled. “And you call me sir!”
Biting his tongue, he raised his hand.
“What?!” She snapped.
“I was talking about Helo and Tryol…sir.”
Chests heaving in indignation, they held it together for a moment before dissolving into uncontrollable giggles together.
“Yeah,” she agreed. “That’s pretty unfair.”

Till We Can't, NC-17
They weren’t fooling anyone. They both knew that Sam and Dee weren’t as oblivious as they pretended to be. But that didn’t stop Kara from slipping from beneath Sam's arm in the dead of night to meet Lee in the dark. It didn’t stop him from bending her roughly over the podium and taking her like he had any right to her body.
“How long are we going to do this?” He grunted as he sank into her angrily.
Reaching back to pull him tighter against her back, she just gasped as he bottomed out within her.
“Till We Can’t.”

B!
Date: 2011-07-19 07:41 pm (UTC)“Your finger’s crooked.”
“What?”
Lee holds his hand up next to hers. The tip of her middle finger slants to the left; his is straight.
Her blood runs cold and Kara snatches her hand back. She reaches for the curtain, but his arm circles her waist, hauling her back against his bare chest.
“You promised,” he breathes in her ear. “No more secrets.”
She cringes, but he’s right. She’d whispered the vow into his skin after Lee cheated death twice at Ragnor.
Kara’s never told anyone. Not even Zak.
When she finishes, he kisses each finger.
It makes it better.

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness, towel, PG-13
The stims were still buzzing through Kara when the hatch clanged. In stalked Apollo, his expression more befitting Ares than the deity of sunlight and music. Her eyes lingered on the clenched muscle in his jaw, the popped cords of tension in his biceps. Droplets still clung to the sculpted, towel-clad body.
He was furious, complaining. “…and my father told me they frakking look like us now!”
A smirk formed unbidden.
“You think that’s funny, lieutenant?”
“Nope.”
“Then what!?”
She stepped closer, pulled away the towel. Let her eyes travel down slowly.
“Trust me, Apollo, they don’t look like you.”
***
Everyone’s a Suspect, Crashdown, PG
He’s not sure when he starts to notice in earnest, but suddenly Lee can’t stop watching and cataloguing them. The brush of his hand on Kara’s shoulder as they pass in the halls. A food fight in the mess as she wastes half her ration of reconstituted eggs by stuffing it down his pants. Her shrieking with laughter as he snaps a towel at her ass in the head. His arm snaking around her waist, his white scalp resting intimately on her stomach after she walks into the rec.
By Colonial Day, he’s positive she’s frakking Crashdown.
Imagine his surprise.
***
Stumbling, Temple of Athena, PG
He looks at Earth, ruined and ravaged, and hears her voice: “We’ll walk those halls together.”
But she’s gone, off with the cylon.
Apollo brushes past his wife, stumbles onto a raptor back to Galactica. It’s not his ship anymore but he doesn’t want Colonial One now.
He walks blindly to the pilots bunkroom, waving off questions about the planet from his former crew. He falls onto Kara’s rack, and closes the curtain.
Lee sleeps and sees midnight skies and constellations, green grass and moonlit smiles.
When she finally climbs in, he slips his arms around her.
They’ll dream together.
***
Not So Complicated , Computer Virus, PG
Kara wakes up, blinking in the sunlight. She hears a soft, steady thump in her head. A heartbeat, not her own.
There’s warm skin against her cheek. Suddenly she remembers where she is, who she’s with.
What they did.
The knowledge staggers her, and Kara can’t move. She doesn’t want to move, but she should. It’s dangerous to stay.
But she feels safe.
They did this before, when they nearly died laughing in the gun range thanks to that cylon virus. When things weren’t so complicated. She misses those days.
She misses them.
She shifts. He wakes.
“Stay.”
She does.
[APOLOGIES TO THE MOD FOR THE LACK OF PORNY GOODNESS. I'LL TRY TO MAKE UP FOR IT WITH MY NEXT ONE. ;)]

Lt. Adama, PG13
Everything changed after Colonial Day. No one knew the worlds had shifted, but they had.
At night, in her rack, she slips on the ring she keeps hidden in the daylight. He can’t be there every night. Too many questions. Too many eyes. But tonight he is. He smiles at her finger, encircled with his love. Tonight he makes love to her like he has every right in the world. And finally, he truly does.
He kisses her as they slip into unconsciousness.
“Night, Lee.”
“Goodnight Lt. Adama.”
Everyone else still called her Lt. Thrace. Only they know the truth.

Date: 2011-07-19 10:00 pm (UTC)ILIAD BINGO. Kara Achilles/Leander Hector
Date: 2011-07-19 11:09 pm (UTC)~~
Delegates (G)
The banquet hall of Cain Agamemna was designed for civilized intimidation. Richly-robed slaves served delicacies imported from the edges of Cain’s vast empire, the meal itself conveying a taste of her ambition. Flames rose from pits dug into the dirt floor, reflecting across the mounted blades lining each wall.
Leander Hector, prince of Troy, spoke of peace but focused on Cain’s greatest weapon: a brazen girl, fair-haired, bare-armed and sun-kissed, lounging at her table. Kara Achilles’ fabled armor was nowhere in sight, but legends still clung to her skin. Leander had eyes for no other.
His brother, Gaius, unfortunately did.
~~
They look like us (PG)
Helen of Caprica was a beauty, no more, no less. She was no goddess, no siren to rob men of their wits. Leander’s brother was not a victim of supernatural allure, he was merely a selfish fool whose lust would doom his people.
It was common knowledge that Caprica’s husband, one-eyed Menelaus, did not love her. His heart lay buried with his first wife, but his pride was wrapped up in the slender, pale-eyed woman who’d given herself to Troy’s youngest prince.
Every kiss the traitors shared was deadly. Leander wanted to condemn them, thought of Kara, and could not.
~~
Zak (PG)
Cain’s armada arrived: a thousand black ships, winged horses carved into their prows.
Achilles slaughtered her way through the Trojans, but – by mutual, unspoken pledge – she and Hector kept their distance in battle.
Resenting her queen’s tyranny, Achilles eventually withdrew, and Leander turned the tide of war.
Then, without warning, he faced Kara’s golden armor and her blade. Instinctively he parried and thrust, shocked by the answering spray of blood. Shaking, he reached for his fallen enemy, lifted the helmet, and saw young Zacchaeus – Kara’s student, her family, her darling.
Leander watched helplessly, knowing the boy’s death sealed his own.
~~
Raider (PG)
Achilles’ fury raced, heart-beaten, through her veins. As a child, she’d been immersed in water that washed away weakness. Her body was forged of iron; she’d thought herself impervious to pain, save through her heel. But this loss surpassed any physical wound.
She hunted down Leander Hector, chasing him within sight of his own walls, until he turned, despairing, to face her.
She speared through his shoulder, watching pain blank his eyes. It would not do to make his death too quick. She tied him to the heel of her chariot and dragged him away as a prize of war.
~~
You want something from me? (PG)
She hurt him as much as she could stand, but couldn’t bring herself to kill him. Ashamed and nearly mad, she hid him in her tent amongst her pillaged treasure.
Old King Priam stole behind enemy lines, begging Kara to return his son.
Leaning over Leander in the dark, she whispered to him of his father’s visit. “I’ve destroyed his kingdom, but for your sake he kissed my hands, gave up his pride. I’ve never known such love.”
Leander caught her hand. Unable to lift his head, he moved her fingers gently, grazing them across his lips.
“Yes, you have.”

Bingo! But barely
Date: 2011-07-20 03:49 am (UTC)Watching Kara give up on the crutches felt oddly like she had taken one of them and smashed him in the chest with it. Something had shot down her confidence, but he wasn't sure what. After the miracle she'd pulled dragging herself off that planet, she should be feeling like a god now.
Maybe an ego boost wasn't what she needed, Lee thought as he walked away from sickbay. He turned the corner to see Colonel Tigh barking a sarcastic order at some unsuspecting deckhand and Lee realized that Kara probably just needed a good kick in the ass.
***
Torture, PG-13
Lee lay in the far corner of the cell, eyes open but unfocused. His skin was marred with cuts and bruises and the only indication that he was still alive was the fluttering rise and fall of his chest.
Frakking toasters.
Kara bent down next to him, trying to figure out where to touch him without causing him any more pain. "Lee?" she breathed, letting her hand rest gently on his shoulder.
"Get away from me!!" he hissed as he recoiled, panic edging his voice.
"Lee! It's me." Kara held on until he focused. "I'm getting you out of here."
***
Frak Space, NC-17
The word "please" hovered on Kara's tongue, but she bit her lip and moaned through gritted teeth and refused to give Lee the satisfaction of hearing her beg.
Excruciatingly slowly--Lee's tongue traced trails through her slick folds, flicking lightly at her clit before sliding away again. Lords of Kobol, he was going to drive her insane. She threaded her fingers through his hair and tugged roughly, pulling him to her--get on with it, Lee.
But he grasped her wrists and pushed her arms behind her back and licked her long and slow.
She knew she'd come when he wanted her to.
***
Captain Thrace, PG
Lee stood at the podium, staring out at the pilots in front of him. Slowly, they were recovering. Slowly, they were becoming a unit. The scattered, battered group of pilots was starting to resemble a squadron once again. Lee felt a certain amount of pride, standing before them as CAG. He had lost his command on Pegasus, but he had Galactica’s air group and that was all he needed.
One of the most remarkable changes, he grudgingly had to admit, was Starbuck.
After the briefing, he pulled her aside. “Welcome back to the fleet, Captain Thrace. Don’t frak it up.
***
Razor, PG
“Ow.”
“What?” Kara pushed past Lee in the small head, dropped her pants and sat on the toilet.
Lee shook his head and looked away. Gods, she had no shame. He leaned in closer to the mirror, examining the small nick he’d gotten when Kara bumped the arm he’d been shaving with. “I think you’re secretly trying to kill me.”
“Secretly?” she repeated, a smirk in her voice.
“Yes. A devious plot to do away with me by covering me in tiny cuts. It’s brilliant actually, no way to pin it on you.”
“Too complicated. Guns are easier,” she teased.
