It’s Day Five  on  and a Friday at that (which is more than enough reason to celebrate), but today there is another reason added on top of an already special day.   Believe it or not, today, April 8^th, is...

Katee Sackhoff’s birthday! 

 

In honour of the big day, I’ve given you TWO VIDS (one old one in homage to the past which is on vimeo, one new for the present) and we’ll focus today’s DPP events on celebrating everything Katee.  So pull out your screencaps, vids, photo shoots and all around Kara Thrace / Katee Sackhoff bling, and let’s spam No_Takebacks with her beauty and talent. 

As a second topic for today, I’ve decided to keep open the ‘bigger / better’ challenge, as there are a number of people participating who can’t create their projects until the weekend.  (Myself included.)  So the participation challenge will stay at 150 comments, but I will count up the number on yesterday AND today’s comm.  (I owe you one manip already, but I’m sure there will be more by the end of today.)

So get over to Bigger / Better and MAKE A BID!

As a side note, Naz let me know that given the date change, she will choose the winner of the Bigger / Better game on Sunday.  (Unless Naz changes the rules again – as she might – in which case I’ll update you.  ‘Cause that’s how the lady rolls.)

So bring out your “best” Katee today shippers!  Share the little tidbits you have hidden away – fic recs, vids, images or what have you – and lift your glass to toast the woman who brought Starbuck alive in BSG.  She

P.S.  My understanding is that Lee can be a bit jealous... so you can occasionally throw him in too.  Kara would approve, I’m sure.

That is hilarious! I honestly don't follow the show closely (I've only seen a couple episodes in total) but that connection is really strange! LOL

I'm unfortunately getting the "Green Screen" issue on about 3/4s of your Vimeo vids. Starts out green and then as it runs it's pretty much 90% obscured by pixelation issues with about 80% of it vertical lines running down the vid.
