International Rewatch--this Wednesday 10am GMT

[Poll #1494495]Hiya Shippers,

We are going to try Wednesday (December 9) at 10am GMT for our first International Rewatch. This time is morning for Europe and evening for Australia. It's early morning for Eastern US folks and late night for Western US folks. It's set off from the 1st Rewatch group by about 1/3 of a day so hopefully if the other rewatch is during work or sleep, this one will be better for your schedule. Of course, any and all watchers of the first Rewatch are most welcome and encouraged to bring their awesomeness to both Rewatch times!!! (We will reassess in a few weeks and see if this time is okay or if there is a better time.)

Now we need to decide what we want to watch. I have several thoughts for variety and welcome your own...

1) Start from the beginning (Mini or 33) and just watch K/L episodes.
2) Watch a classic K/L or quintessential Kara epi just to get us started, encourage attendance, and then make a schedule. (AoC/YCGHA or UBEx)
3) Watch the same epi that the first rewatch group is watching. (Fragged)
4) Watch what the first rewatch is watching but go back a week at least for this first International Rewatch b/c VoD is a better K/L epi than Fragged and we might get a better representation of who will be attending. (Valley of Darkness)

Tell me I'm crazy, tell me what you want to watch, tell me the time sucks and we need to keep working on it, tell me you love it, but please post!! This is your rewatch and I want some massive K/L love to be there!!

That would be 6pm my time (AWST) and thus works a treat.

As for eps... I'm not voting for UBex because that would feel like peaking too soon, I think. :P So I voted for AoC/YCGHA. Second choice is 33 though I wouldn't mind the mini - it's just so long so we'd have to do it over two nights/weeks, I think?

I think there's a challenge in watching non K/L eppies cos then we can talk about how we would make them better? Also there are often short but sweet moments in otherwiose boring eps. But maybe you need to post a diff poll to figure out whether or not to skip eps.

And well, you posted the most specific times so it was easy to find a time that would work for ya--win/win IMO.

Yeah I figured I'd better be as open and specific as possible about times if I was going to get to join in. I'm rather used to being in the remote part of the world in terms of timezones (although given we're just below Asia and pretty much in the same timezone, I dunno why that is really. ;)

I don't mind starting with season 1. It will feel like its our own re-watch rather than late-to-the-pary.

Agreed, you guys have convinced me that we should wait for UBEx. I like the idea of starting with S1...although possibly we should go through and see which epis we want to watch as opposed to doing all of S1 over again.

I'm thinking 33 might be our starting place. (I'm gonna have to rewatch the mini on my own between now and then though just for the hell of it!!)
