To commemmorate this fine institution, we need an EPIC-style celebration as only Pilots and Pilot Shippers can bring it. So, get ready.... get set... get your motors running..... because...

So, Here's The Rules:

1) ALL PILOTS, ALL THE TIME. - We're going back to basics, my friends. No other ships allowed, no threesomes. (No RPF.)
2) PROMPT FOR MAXIMUM CREATIVITY - We want as many ideas to flow as possible, so rather than the usual generic one-word prompts (i.e "touch", "grief," etc.) let's make them extra creative this time around shall we? In fact, let's just say: NO ONE WORD PROMPTS. Instead, try outlandish scenarios (i.e. "Kara and Lee find an ice cream planet and proceed to get down and very dirty"), or how about some tried-and-true cliches (i.e. "going on an undercover mission as a couple")? Or maybe, step outside your box a little. If you always write long sagas with maximum angst, give some quick cracky sexytimes a shot? Kara encourages you to think outside your boxes, shippers. (OH, and for our delicate flowers in the crowd who want to write, your story can be sexy or flirtatious rather than full-on porny. Don't be intimidated.)

the_wireless probably can see that we're in a dearth of pilot stories at the moment. We've got a few stalwarts still churning out the pilot fic, but our numbers are dwindled. So, introduce someone new to No_Takebacks and to writing for our ship! Lure back an old pilots lover who hasn't written in a while! RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT!
Likewise, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PIMP THIS BATTLE ON YOUR LJs, ON YOUR TUMBLRs, OR WHEREVER YOU THINK PILOT FRIENDLIES WOULD BE. I will crosspost this to beyond_insane andsasa_hq, and ask the mods if it's okay to pimp it on bsg2003fics.
4) YOU GOTTA KEEP 'EM (PROMPTS) SEPARATED. - Starting now, right here, ON THIS POST, feel free to enter prompts in a list format in the comment box. Please put each prompt on its own line so there is no confusion. Once you post a comment full of prompts, please don't edit/add to that box. Start another comment if you've got more prompts in an hour or a day or whatever. Feel free to squee about this battle here in the comments as well, if you like, but make those posts separate from prompts comments, please.

Date: 2011-02-21 12:19 am (UTC)"this sequence of Kara and Lee getting on Cloud Nine and just relaxing and stopping to literally smell the roses as it were- used to be a pool, in first draft there was a scripted .... instead of her spraying him with the hose, which she's about to do here, we had Kara just stripping off her clothes and going skinny-dipping and Lee sort of being scandalised by it but then jumping in as well because we wanted to just give them a moment. It was like, 'give these guys a break, they've had a long difficult season too' and it just felt like 'okay now they're standing out there, it looks beautiful, it is beautiful, let them enjoy themselves and have a little bit of fun'."
