What This Show Needs is More Symbolism

Hi everyone. Thank you all so much for joining in this week, it's been such a pleasure to read your wonderful comments and stories! Huzzah!

For this last day, I thought it might be fun to design coats of arms for Kara and Lee. There is a free online design tool here which allows you to choose your own name & motto and guides you through the meaning of different colors and symbols (be sure to scroll down a little bit so you can see the four menus you have to choose from). Once you've chosen your colors and design, click the "Generate my crest" button, and then you can save the image and share it with us in your comments here. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Actually, what is all this brouhaha about needing more symbolism? You can't actually think it's possible to top the glorious rat-bird who proceeded to infest the Earth with its progeny. I mean, really.

Oh, I'm so glad you designed one for the two of them to share, I didn't even think about that! It's lovely -- that dragon and those colors are gorgeous, and I especially love the color of victory flowing right down the center. Together they *were* victorious, no matter how much they each lost individually. Yay!!

Oh, I completely love these! How wonderful. I especially love the mottos you chose for Kara and Lee as individuals -- Lee's was poignant and perfect, and Kara's was hilarious!

I also kind of love that Lee and Starbuck share the same bird icon (it looks like a phoenix rising from the ashes), but Lee's is set inside the "honor" box while Starbuck's lives, appropriately, outside the box :)
