(sheesh!! part 3 of list) 40) I love that Kara is the BEST at most everything she does or attempts to do. She shows she’s willing to do whatever it takes to be the best, no matter how hard or dangerous the work, how filthy or harmful the conditions or how little support she receives from anyone around her.
41) I love that Kara is a tough and unapologetic competitor…just like a man.
42) I love that Kara is not a waif. After all, she’s a damn good soldier and a warrior and she shouldn’t look like she could be blown away by a strong gust of wind.
43) I love that Kara doesn’t need make-up or fussy hair or fancy clothes or even to be clean, to be absolutely beautiful! When she runs out of the museum on Caprica after Sharon takes off in her Raider…even all beat up and covered in dirt, blood and tears…she’s a knockout.
44) On a completely shallow note (and with a shameless girl crush), I love Kara’s beautiful green eyes, blond hair and generous lips. And I think Lee loves them too!!
45) To me she is real. She is that lost child that hides in everyone of us just waiting for that chance to be set free and unleash all the hurt we feel upon those who have hurt us.
46) She hasn't become Tigh, hasn't become Cain...hasn't been transformed by hate and fear into somebody that can't feel anymore. Deep inside, she's still the innocent, still the person that just wants to make the world better, simply wants the chance to do what she can, no matter what.
47) I lOVE that she admits that she loves Lee and she hates Lee to his wife who just saved her *** (okay...I know she was drugged). But I can totally relate to the love/hate feeling!
48) She possesses the devil may care attitude and she 's reckless, and yet she toes the line on being careless. She'll get the job done on her own terms and face the consequences later. And she thinks out of the box. I so wish I had 1/4 of Kara in me.
49) I love how Kara does her best to rise up every time something or someone brings her down. Even if it doesn't always work.
Again... these aren't mine --- the collective voice of the Shippers during the writer's strike of 2007!
