I don't think we ever will. I mean, that final scene of theirs is bad enough because Kara looks HEARTBROKEN to be leaving him, she's near tears despite insisting that she feels good....it's like nothing I saw on my screen squares up with what the writers/actors say about it. Kara was so cheated, I just can't.
The only way for me to save my sanity is to believe with the fervour of a crazy that Lee finally got to see Kara on 'the other side' like she promised in Maelstrom, once his life on Earth is over.
