Essay time --WOOT! WOOT!

Back during my reign of terror fluffy and glittery tenure on the DPP, there was talk of an essay contest on Jan. 15th.  And  some wonderfully awesome peeps went ahead and signed up--- specifically wicked_sassy, letterstonorah, word_vomity, requialexa, anamarya, and useyourlove.

So now I'm checking to make sure we're still on track.  If you haven't started writing yet, DON'T FREAK OUT.  This is so low-key it's not even funny.  I just want to hear your piloty thinky thoughts.  And if you haven't signed up yet--- IT'S NOT TOO LATE!  Come on and join the insanity!  There's no word limit, no topic limit-- no rules!!! (You see what I did there? That was for you kag523.  Just for you, bb.) 

To be a part of the madness, here's all you need to do.  On Monday, January 16.....

1.  Find a computer.
2.  Log on to no_takebacks.
3.  Post a paragraph (or six or twenty-seven) about WHY PILOTS ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF.
4.  If your paragraph/paragraphs are too long to post there, then just post a comment with a link to your LJ.
5.  Come mix and mingle and have fun!!  wicked_sassyand i will be your hosts for the day, and rumor has it there may even be a haiku-off in the comments! 

There will be prizes! 
Punch and pie!! 
The chance for eternal fame and glory!!!

And really, how can you not want a piece of that?   Okay.  Thus endeth the announcement.  Now back to damao2010and her DPP Week of Awesomeness.....  :D

Hi everybody,

How are you doing on this fine day? Are you still bursting with warm fuzzy feelings of the most delicious kind after the phenomenal love fest from yesterday? I know I am.

To everybody who helped spread their love and appreciation for our dearest writers I say THANK YOU! THE SHIPPER NATION ROCKS!!!!!!

To those who missed the party, don't worry. It is still going strong and there is always time to send your love. I know I myself haven't been able to send notes to everybody I love and there are still writers who we haven't even mentioned yet.

But, today is another day, so...
