“Godsdamned piece of frakking shit!” Kara pulled her blanket more tightly around her and kicked her locker half-heartedly. The environmental controls had failed, again.
Lee startled her when his curtain shifted. “Can you keep it down out there? I’m trying to freeze to death in peace.” He watched her shiver a moment before throwing the curtain open with a huff. “Get in. We should huddle up to keep warm.”
She laughed loudly, climbing in. “Always knew you were a cuddler, Apollo.”
“Huddle,” he clarified.
“Cuddle, huddle, frak. Whatever.” She was immediately warmer.
