My initial thought on hearing Jamie was leaving L&O:UK was to hope 17th Precinct makes it. I'd just hate to see him looking for something else again. I was all excited about Outlaws and then to get so little for his char was a disappointment.

I'm hoping they've at least gotten a bit more of the Matt child abuse back story into his last series of L&O. Jamie did such a good job on those moments of doubt and pain that I want to see more.

As for 17th Precinct it's James as a homicide detective, Jamie as a CSI, and Trisha as a coroner. Makes an interesting threesome that. I just hope they get a bit of humor into it too, because I know Jamie and James are capable of being hilarious together.
