Curious question... do you guys watch from your dvd's or from files on your hard drive?

I watch from my DVD's, but I have watched via Netflix or just using my laptop DVD player. Why?

I just notice the time difference between people posting sometimes. If it start from my dvd I have to watch the opening with the universal logo, from the computer it starts right on the cylon opening.

DVDs on the TV because I found it impossible to be MSTing if I had to keep switching tabs from the thread to the video.

I'm a college student who leaves her DVDs at home, so I watch online. Tonight I'm watching on Netflix, but usually i go the less-than-legal route.

Yeah this is an issue too. right now I have it sitting on the Ep Index page so as soon as I hit play it's in. There is the problem that if I do this too early it goes back to the player logo and i have to reload the menu.

Yeah, I usually line it up in my player a little bit beforehand, cuz otherwise, you're right. You'd get the logo, etc.

On Lee Adama daily the other day I did this whole post on why Lee's mutiny really wasn't a mutiny and someone said that Helo's action here was in the same vein. Basically refusing an unlawful order. The circumstances would probably support his interpretation.

You know it's interesting, when you watch the series early on, Cylon debris never has any organic tissue/blood material floating around. They clearly changed the FX once they made the decision for the story to make ALL of the Cylons part sentient.
