Hiya Shipper Nation,

Congratulations on our survival and ability to flourish over the past year!!  Thank you all for taking our girl's "fight 'em til we can't" and applying it to keeping the K/L torch burning in the face of adversity (aka RDM/poofing/poor writing/QoD fail ships, etc).  In honor of our one year "angst-puppy rating: infinity" anniversary, I bring you the ending we were supposed to see.  Courtesy of taragel:

Kara/Lee are the only true OTP I've ever had. And even though I've had many internal and frustrating conflicts about the nature of their relationship (due to the intent of canon which was to set something extremely special up and then systematically undermine or destroy it bit by bit until there really wasn't anything left) I do love that amongst all the mess there was a brief time when Kara/Lee were GOLDEN.

The best representation I have of their amazing love and need for one another is this ridiculously sappy and shippy vid I made several years ago which for me captures that golden moment and also reminds me whenever I watch it that they were capable of love and commitment and family and a bright shiny future.

Latte, I hear you on the internal conflict running rampant while trying to fit canon together with the K/L love we all know to be true. Personally, I think there's a lot left though...WE are left and K/L lives in our writing, picspams, vids, icons, and daily life. That's actually a huge amount of golden K/L love in the world...at least in my world. Thanks for your vid; it's gorgeous in its K/L glory!
