It still bothers me that she never painted on Galactica. But it wasn't part of who she was there, which I guess makes sense :(

Kara's ability to compartmentalise is fascinating to me. And I don't think often discussed.

Hers and Lee's both. I remember being struck by the moment on the algae planet--from the moment the cylons show up until they're all on Galactica, Lee is in military mode and he and Kara just turn the rest completely off.
