I actually hated when they bounced his personality back and forth like that... he never struck me as dumb/dense until they made him a cylon. Kinda ironic, no?

I honestly think they winged it when it came to his character. He was never supposed to make it off of Caprica initially. He was gonna be a guest star and that was that. *wish writers had stuck to that plan instead of this one.*
