Will it make you even sadder if I told you this was (in my head) Lee dying? Though maybe that's obvious... I'm not sure I got that across very well.

Oh yeah, it was clear. Hence why it HURT SO FRAKKING MUCH. Like... yay! they're together.. but oh gods, Lee's dead... but... they're together... but he's dead... they're both dead... WAAAAH

Ah okay! I wasn't sure I really conveyed that well. I originally had another part that was on Galactica of them running together and then it turned into this but...I couldn't make it work.

ETA: Lee dying is one of the saddest things, IMO. Whenever it happens in a fic (which granted isn't very often) I feel a little piece of my soul start crying. I was in so many tears when I read Reality and Immortality...

It made me sad in Reality, but only because Kara hadn't gone yet.

Life or death, they should go together. Always.
