DPP, Day Four -- LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

All right, kids, it's lovefest time.  So dust off those meme trousers and come on out and FEEL THE LOVE.  Today is all about the silly light frothy fun. This is a lovefest/get-to-know-you/friending meme all wrapped into one so don't be shy!

Here's how it works:

1.  Put your tags in the box by posting a comment saying "Will you be my Neighbor?"   Or whatever.  I just enjoy the Mr. Rogers reference.

2.  You must interview the person who posted ABOVE YOU in their comment thread.  

3.  You must ask them three questions:

     One (somewhat) personal (but not too personal, as this is, after all the internets, so no asking for identifying information-- ie, name, address, location, etc.  Just more generic personal stuff.)
     One fannish (anything fandom or pilots-related), and
     One weird/silly/crazy (just let loose and have fun with this one).

4.  You must must MUST chitty chitty chat chat with other people who have answered, especially if you see something intriguing.  This is all about the talking folks, so let's get to it.  :D

1. I'm much less of a music person than other people are, or at least I listen to it in a less organized fashion. But the first things that come to mind are Mortal City by Dar Williams, Hideaway by the Weepies and...the soundtrack to Rent.

2. TAKING A BREAK FROM ALL YOUR WORRIES. It seems ridiculous to me, even now, that when both their spouses told them to just go be together, and they both clearly wanted to be together, THEY DIDN'T JUST GET TOGETHER.

3. Rubber band! They are stretchy. I have no better explanation :) And I had to look up what exactly a honeybadger looks like, and even if they're mean they're cuter than cobras, so I'll choose them!

Ok, even though THIS isn't my question i HAVE to answer the pickup line one because...well, just because.

On my 23rd birthday i was in a club and across the way was the BEST LOOKING GUY i had ever seen (still, even after ALL these years this guy was one of the best looking guys i have EVER seen). I turned to my friend and said "that's what i want for my birthday! I want him!" and she said "he's blah blah blah and he is so conceited and full of himself and he'll never even talk to you" which BTW, is BULLSHIT,

So... i had this stchick i always used called "my three redeeming features" and i walked up to him and said " hi! i hear that you're pretty full of yourself" ... and then i paused and said "but then so am i ... but of course, i have reason to be" to which he was SO SHOCKED that he said "WHY?" and i said "because i have 3 redeeming features!" and he was so nonplussed that he asked me about them and so on and so on and LONG STORY SHORT I TOTALLY HOOKED UP WITH HIM THAT NIGHT so Happy Birthday to me!!!

ahhhhh...the good old days when you could bullshit your way through life!

Lol, don't get me wrong, I totally see the pull toward invisibility! It is NOT an easy choice!

1) I have so many favorites but if I had to choose it would Ms. Ambrose. She was my 8th grade English teacher. I think she gave me my love of writing and poetry. I was still in ESL but she didn't doubt me once when she assigned the class our 20 page research paper. I think her faith in my writing and speaking ability did wonders for me in the future.

2)This is a tough one because it's so hard to pin them in one small box. I still can't decide by Jane Austen or E.E. Cummings.

3)A little known fact about me, I was in band my freshman year of high school and played trumpet and then a saxaphone. Of course, I wasn't that great, okay honestly I was okay at best.:) But if magical powers can help then I would love to play piano. I would love to be able to move my fingers over those keys with such efficiency and mezmerize anyone that's listening.
