DPP: Kissing

Hi everyone! You know me and I know most of you, so let's get started! I think everyone agrees that pilot kisses are hot and gorgeous and bring everything from comfort to passion. So for today's DPP, I'm going to ask you to write a kiss. Just a kiss. Any kind of kiss. I want to see WHY pilot kisses are so amazing, what they mean and how they send us into fits of delightful squee or maybe a tear for the sweetness of it all.

teasing kisses happy kisses friendly kisses of longing and desperation thank-god-you-are-alive kisses face-touching kisses rough and raw kisses that mean everything kisses that mean nothing angsty kisses teasing kisses that promise more tender kisses with a hint of passion kisses of regret and apology kisses congratulations kisses stolen kisses long and luxurious kisses...

You see the possibilities. Go forth and write me a kiss. *mwah*

It did change radically and I had to go back and read that little part again, but it didn't take away from the power of the piece. Some beautiful and evocative language.

Mostly I was surprised. Surprised that it happened and even more surprised that I let it. ;) It was definitely the language that became the central thread which I struggle with trusting. I way over think word choice and flow when I write.
