Reunited: Would it feel so good?

Hee. Okay so I'm being a little silly with the subject line, but all this flurry of casting news for Ron Moore's new TV pilot, The 17th Precinct, had to have struck some fear into the hearts of shippers everywhere. He cast Jamie, then James, then Tricia and there are plenty of folks wondering if there might be more battlestar vets he'll try to pick up. Katee is still out there, available, and someone on twitter pointed out that she and Tricia tweeted about seeing each other at an audition where they were up for different parts. Of course, it was probably not for 17P...but... the role of Jamie's character's wife is still open. And it calls for a somewhat snarky blonde in her 30s.

We've all said plenty of times that we would love to see them play a couple in something else...never ever thinking that was a real possibility. Which brings me to today's scenario: If Katee was cast as Susan (the wife of Jamie's character, Caolan), would you watch? Would you ship? Or do you need them to be Kara and Lee for you to ever feel that way again?

Also just a couple of reminders: The (Not Very) Porny Battle Rages On! Also, we need folks to steer the DPPs! Esp for the rest of this month. I've got a special project in mind for a few days next week, but the end of the month needs fearless shippers to volunteer! Our worst nightmare is an appropriate title for this.

On one hand they are back together and they have awesome chemistry. However this puts RDM in position to frak with us again, and that is DECIDELY not good. The old phrase "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" comes to mind.

It would be a dilemma cause as it stands now I can watch it without having to worry about being sucked in. However if they are on the same show and as husband and wife no less? How can I not getting emotionally attached? How could memories of Lee and Kara not affect how I feel about this couple?

I would watch it. No way I wouldn't. I'm the one who tracked every show they have been on that I could find lol. So yeah together again? Course I'm watching it. I just don't know how I would watch it, if that makes sense? Have to watch cause they are together again, but can't let RDM screw with me either.

Guess if it happens, I'd have time to figure out the how right? lol

I would love to see it happen, but yet it would probably scare the crap out of me too lol.

I'm hoping she steers clear for a lot of reasons, and then I will be happy to watch it with some detatched excitement. :)

Seems alot of us are on the same wavelength with this. On one hand you want to see it on the other you don't cause of RDM lol

If they were together with another show runner it would be alot more welcome (unless it's someone with an equally bad track record).

Seriously though, I know most would feel at least similar. On one hand as fans of both of them how can't you not want them together again? Ah but to put at the mercy of RDM again? That's so scary. Talk about being torn lol.
